The Patient Activation Administrative Specialist is a front line team member responsible for welcoming patients as they arrive at the clinic and ensuring they are fully onboarded with the *** s digital health tools. - This role is important to enhancing the patient experience by ensuring all patients are activated and educated on their health tools.
- As the first point of contact in the lobby, the Patient Activation Administrative Specialist plays a key role in building trust and offering support to patients who need assistance in activating.
What you ll likely work on:
- Patient Greeting and Onboarding: Serve as the first point of contact in the lobby, welcoming patients and ensuring a positive first impression.
- App Activation Support: Check each patient s activation status and assist with setup and troubleshooting as needed.
- Patient Education: Explain app features and benefits, and answer questions to encourage confident usage.
- Coordination and Escalation: Collaborate with clinic staff and escalate technical issues to the appropriate support teams.
- Tracking and Feedback: Document activation progress and share patient feedback to help improve digital engagement efforts.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a patient facing role within a healthcare setting
- Ability to communicate clearly, patiently, and empathetically with a diverse patient population
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams
A proven track record of persisting through change, demonstrating a forward thinking perspective when under pressure, and consistently stepping up to take action on challenges - Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet, working with new mobile smartphone applications, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
