Location: St., Ennis, TX 75119

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shifts: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Start Time: 7:30 AM
End Time: 5:00 PM
On-Call & Weekends: Required (response time: within 1 hour)
Worksite: Hospital setting
Essential Functions:

Perform plan of care interventions, including:
-
Medication administration
-
Specimen collection
-
Clinical treatments
-
Other medical care treatments
-

Accurately document all patient care provided.

Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate.

Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as:
-
Personal hygiene
-
Elimination
-
Nutrition
-
Ambulation
-
-
Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including:
-
Patient transfer
-
Discharge
-
Referrals
-
Spiritual/psychosocial support
-
-
Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Facility Requirements:

License:
-
Must have an active Texas RN or compact multi-state RN license
-

Certifications:
-
ACLS, BLS, and PALS Must be current and issued by the American Heart Association

Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience in a hospital setting

Must have Pre-op and PACU experience (will be required to work in PACU as needed)

Skills Required:

Must be able to circulate in general, Client, spine, ENT, and endoscopy cases immediately
