Position Purpose: To provide clerical support and perform related office and administrative duties for the Administrator. To provide supervision and leadership to the clerical staff.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of three years’ experience in word processing and general office procedures and practices or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Above average knowledge of public and private behavioral health billing and standards
• Minimum of one year of staff supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Must have a demonstrated history of project implementation, follow thru, and adherence
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Work an eight hour shift five days a week and be available to work additional hours when necessary. Overtime may be required.
2. Provide all support services for facility Administrator/Director.
3. Ensure that all financial aspects of the campus are in compliance and that required benefits verification, authorizations, and co-pay collections are occurring without incident
4. Maintain inventory and order all office, copier and computer supplies.
5. Supervise the Medical Records staff, Patient Accounts Representatives Receptionists, and Evening Receptionists, including orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and disciplinary interventions as required.
6. Consult with Administrator to develop policies, goals, objectives and procedures for the Clerical Department.
7. Serve as a member of the Administrative Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
8. Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
9. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
10. Serve as a role model for other staff, patients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
11. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
- Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm
