Carex is partnering with a Manufacturing industry partner to hire a Data Engineer II who will design and maintain scalable data pipelines that power data-driven decision-making across the business. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex data challenges, enjoys collaboration, and is eager to contribute to high-impact projects that shape real-world operations. This is a direct hire role and is onsite in Green Bay, WI.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement efficient and reliable data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data sources.
• Enhance performance and scalability of existing data workflows and architecture.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Apply data governance best practices and assist in managing metadata repositories.
• Participate in code reviews and begin mentoring junior engineers on the team.
  
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience working with ETL/ELT frameworks and cloud-based data ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with data modeling, metadata management, and governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to development.
