Location: CLP-Main Library, Pittsburgh, PA.
Hiring Supervisor: Ray Williams Manager – Custodial Services
Work Hours: 20 hours per week; days, evenings, and weekends required
Compensation: $19.65 per hour

Education & Physical Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED;
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities & Experience:
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to (50 lbs.);
- Ability to stand, stoop, stretch, kneel, climb ladders and be on your feet for prolonged periods of time;
- Capable of using cleaning solutions and powered equipment effectively and safely;
- Valid Driver’s license also preferred;
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Keeping the internal and external appearance of the library clean and presentable to the public; including floor and rug care such as mopping, waxing, buffing, vacuuming and shampooing rugs;
- Cleaning light fixtures, baseboards, windows, door frames and dust surfaces; gathering and removing trash;
- Sanitizing sinks and toilets in restrooms;
- Assisting in the performance of cutting grass and shrubbery, removing exterior debris, mulching, weeding, cleaning sidewalks and removing snow.
Clearance Requirements:
- PA State Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- FBI Criminal Record Check
- Pre-Employment Physical
