Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide full lifecycle customer service where you could accept inbound calls or might be calling out to provide follow up on a concern.
- Route calls to the appropriate location.
- Maintain patient accounts and information.
- Respond to patient inquiries with compassion and active listening and support the best solution in an efficient manner.
- Ability to understand the revenue cycle and assist patients as needed.
- Involved in the collection, verification, and confirmation of non-clinical information.
- Schedules patients as needed including new patient setup.
- Manage incoming and outbound calls.
- Understands that timely and accurate documentation and notification are critical.
- Works with operations departments, clinical, quality and correspondence departments to assure accuracy and timeliness processing from beginning to end.
- Is able to provide non-clinical issue resolution and escalation of an issue to management when appropriate.

Requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of medical terminology or medical services experience required.
- Minimum of two years of call center, quality improvement, or healthcare operations required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
- Proficient and comfortable in a computer-based environment.
- Experience in a call center environment preferred.
- Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy.
