What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Service Representative position at Carolina Eye Associates, PA?
Register patients upon arrival, secure insurance or managed care authorization, post charges, educate & communicate balance to patients, request and post payments from patients, issue receipts, submit daily deposit, process insurance claims. Require High School diploma or equivalent and prefer 1-2 years' of related medical office experience. Prefer Associates Degree in related field (business, medical office). Some "day" travel to satellite offices will be required. Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications. EOE.
