Job Summary: This position codes edits and posts all payments to the proper CarolinaEast Health System accounts. Reviews, codes, and keys all payments received. Handles Remittance Advises, Unapplied Cash and NSF Checks per policy. Keys Refunds and Combining Accounts. Performs all related duties as a backup cashier as is necessary. Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Patient Registration/Accounts Manager and/or Supervisor. Works for the overall goal of Patient Financial Services Office and CarolinaEast Health System.
Minimum Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent (GED). Must be fluent with a calculator/ adding machine. Must possess good math skills.
