Store Manager Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Store Manager are to promote customer service, generate sales, control inventory, adhere to the budget, meet projected profit goals, maintain the store’s appearance and manage the store’s team.
Qualifications
This position is responsible for:
- working with customers on selecting flooring and furniture
- calculating estimates based on measurements, must be able to measure accurately.
- writing up sales tickets
- assisting with inventory control
- handling freight, operating a forklift, ability to lift 75 lbs (as needed)
-delivering furniture and flooring as needed
- help maintain the appearance of the store and keeping things clean and tidy.
- managing and/or assisting with off-site measuring (as needed)
-Focus on detail is important.
-Searching for a proactive, self-starter and exhibits an eagerness to learn, take guidance and be part of the team.
