Family-owned Manufacturing Housing Community in Sussex County, NJ is seeking an experienced Entry Level Office Associate to be trained as an Assistant Property Manager. This employment opportunity offers a 3 month training program to the right motivated candidate who has a diverse background in office administration, customer service and an honest interested in learning how to be an effective Property Manager.
Job Description includes, but is not limited to:
Handling daily administrative and office tasks
Collect, post and process monthly account receivable
Advertise and market made-ready Rentals and Homes for Sale to attract new homeowners and tenants
Excellent computer skills
Update tenant profiles and leases
Learn landlord-tenant Laws
Conduct inspections of community, grounds and rental units
Manage tenant relations and retention
Five years office and customer service experience
5 years prior work experience and knowledge of Real Estate or Property Management helpful
Competencies include:
Must be outgoing, friendly, personable, resourceful, adaptable and have an inquisitive nature
Willingness to work as part of a team
Ability to follow instructions
Competencies in MS Office, Google platforms, Excel and relevant databases and software
Ability to learn new software programs
Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, listening and written)
Well organized with excellent time management skills
Go-Getter, People Friendly, Ability to make others feel comfortable
Customer focus and bottom line orientation
Excellent listening skills
