Director of Housing

Lakeside Generations, a 5-star senior nursing facility with 54 beds, is hiring a Full-Time Director of Housing to join our team! 

The successful candidate will preferably have at least two years previous experience in housing or property management, ideally working with aging adults and/or disabled persons. In addition, a BA degree related to long term care or housing, current knowledge of legal requirements related to housing, basic knowledge of computer hardware/software and excellent oral and written communication skills are required in this position. 

Pay Range: $75,000 to $95,000 / year depending on experience

Director of Housing Responsibilities: 

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a senior housing building that has assisted living, care suites, and independent living options for aging adults. 
• Display an understanding of confidentiality for resident information and vulnerable adult issues.
• Oversee the facility financial performance.
• Finalize facility contracts.
• Work with Activities Director to coordinate recreational/social activities
• Process monthly billings and prepare reports.
• Supervise a staff of approximately 38 people.

• BA or BS degree in Health, Gerontology or Business Administration required.
• Must be a Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD)
• Previous experience in business management, emphasis on property management preferred.
• 1-2 years staff supervisory experience preferred.
• Understanding of the comprehensive home care rules and regulations a must.
