What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Catalano's Welding?

Catalano's Welding is looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our Executive staff, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities, which includes but not limited to:

  • Works with and understands, Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and One-note
  • Comfortable answering phones and taking messages
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Order office supplies
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Assist in maintaining a shop schedule
  • Prepare jobs for shipment and order trucks where necessary
  • Upload files onto customer based sites.
  • Receive in Material Test Reports

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
