Label Specialist II

Position Summary: Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Label Specialist for the Packaging department. This position provides support to the Project Management Team, Operations Team, and our customers by printing and inspecting labels for use in clinical and commercial packaging and distribution. This is a full-time position: Monday – Friday, 2:30PM-11:00PM. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The facility is the commercial manufacturing Center-of-Excellence for accelerated development programs and roller compaction. The Role Prepare, print, and inspect labels according to job specifications. This may include English Text, Foreign Text, and commercial labels. Maintain and manage logbooks for inspecting labels in label control. Inspecting English Text, Foreign Text, Multiple panel, and commercial labels for accuracy. Understand, review, and approve the accuracy of logs that are prepared. Set up printer and adjust printer settings for each run, as well as clean printer and troubleshoot any issues. Report any issues or delays detected that you cannot solve to a supervisor or manager. All other duties as assigned; The Candidate This is an Entry Level position; however, 1-3 years of clinical labelling experience or similar pharmaceutical operations experience is preferred.
