Our client is a highly respected boutique advisory platform with headquarters in London, and an expanding presence in New York. As they continue to scale across regions, they are seeking a high‑calibre In‑House Investment Banking Recruiter to drive talent acquisition across front‑office advisory teams and key operational functions.
The recruiter will play a critical role in shaping the firm’s talent strategy, owning end‑to‑end hiring processes at VP level and below. This individual will partner closely with leadership, act as a market expert, and build a structured, data‑led recruitment engine that supports the firm’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Stakeholder Partnership
- Drive direct recruitment across multiple business areas, with primary responsibility for hiring at VP level and below across front‑office investment banking teams, as well as core operational functions.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management, providing market insights, influencing hiring decisions, and ensuring alignment with business needs across London, New York, and other growing regions.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including briefing, sourcing, assessment, interview process management, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Pipeline Development & Market Mapping
- Build and maintain targeted candidate pipelines using proactive sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, market mapping, referral optimization, and internal ATS databases.
- Develop regionally relevant sourcing strategies to ensure a high‑quality, diverse, and engaged pool of talent.
- Conduct ongoing competitor research and talent intelligence reporting to support hiring plans.
Process Enhancement & Recruiting Infrastructure
- Enhance and evolve the firm’s overall recruitment processes, embedding structure, consistency, and transparency across all stages of hiring.
- Introduce and refine performance metrics, dashboards, and other data-led tools to support predictive, informed decision making.
- Improve the candidate and stakeholder experience through streamlined workflows and professional, high‑touch communication.
The successful candidate will be:
- Proactive and research‑driven, with strong skills in talent mapping, sourcing strategy, and market analysis.
- Commercially minded, with an understanding of the pace, expectations, and nuances of investment banking and high‑performing advisory teams.
- Detail‑oriented and precise, capable of managing multiple processes simultaneously with unwavering accuracy.
- Professional, polished, and adaptable, able to operate with speed and sound judgment in a high‑growth, entrepreneurial environment.
- 2-6 years experience in recruiting for investment banking roles (either in‑house or agency).
This role will be hybrid in midtown Manhattan, with adequate flexibility provided.
Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
