CCLI is looking for an On Call Licensed Practical Nurse with a generous heart to work in our Talbot House which is a 24-hour hour residential stabilization center licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction. Responsibilities:
- Monitor, evaluate and care for clients’ condition, ensure compliance with medication procedures, and advise treatment team of any significant changes or treatment issues;
- Interact extensively with clients in various stages of recovery, helping them to acclimate to program activities and procedures;
- Provide general education and support in areas of treatment and health maintenance;
- Collaborate with medical and clinical staff, and liaise with emergency and/or hospital personnel as needed;
- Provide documentation in an electronic medical records system.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED;
- NYS Licensed Practical Nurse certification;
- Nursing experience in behavioral healthcare settings a strong plus;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team;
- Strong listening and communication skills necessary to provide client-centered care;
- PC proficiency required. Experience with electronic medical records data entry preferred.
Schedule:
On Call: two shifts per month at minimum. 12.5 hours per shift.
Rate of Pay: $25.00 per hour
This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation which may be applicable to this position.
