What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Medical Surgical Urology and Oncology Unit position at Catholic Medical Center?
Who you are:
As an integral member of our team, you, the Registered Nurse, will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients with medical and surgical issues, with a specific focus on two specialized patient populations - Urology and Oncology. Our 29-bed unit offers a diverse patient population, providing you with a unique opportunity to collaborate, learn, and grow.
What you'll do:
- Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status based on interview, examination and review of clinical data.
- Employ critical thinking skills to solve problems and achieve patient outcomes
- Demonstrate proficiency in assessing, responding and adapting plan of care to meet the needs of the patient population served by the CMC
- Serve as a mentor for your team
- You'll have the opportunity to join various clinical committees to help drive exceptional care and create positive outcomes for our patients
What you'll bring:
- 1 years of experience as a RN
- Experience in an acute care setting is highly preferred
- Current unencumbered RN license in the State of NH
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred
- BSN strongly preferred
