Cardiology and Vascular Associates (CAVA) is considered as one of the premier cardiology practices in Michigan. Established in 2000, our 11 board certified cardiologists and 8 mid-level providers, provide services at 5 office locations and multiple area hospitals. Full-time Medical Assistant needed in our Commerce location. Must be willing to provide support in Bloomfield or Clarkston location if needed. EHR experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients
- Perform electrocardiograms on a routine basis
- Take blood pressures manually on each patient
- Medication Reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals
- Answer phones and triage phone calls as needed
- Perform and assist with front desk responsibilities as needed
- Clean and maintain exam rooms at the end of each shift
Skills Required:
- Certification or diploma as a Medical Assistant (preferred)
- Basic life support (BLS) certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Strong patient service skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Experience in taking vital signs accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
