Responsibilities
Provides consumers with supervision and utilizes crisis intervention as needed
Assists consumers with the completion of their activities of daily living skills and monitors the self-administration of prescribed medication
Facilitates a variety of social, recreational, and therapeutic groups and activities with consumers
Implements the treatment plan and provides the appropriate staff with input to develop and follow prescribed plans
Must be able to adhere to the program’s documentation guidelines and provide accurate information as required
Conducts fire drills on a monthly basis and assists in the maintenance of the group home, reporting any issues to program management
Qualifications
BSW in social work, BA/BS in psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or a related field
AA with two years of previous experience working with youth in a group setting
Child care experience preferred
Valid New Jersey driver’s license
