CBN International – Virginia Beach, VA
The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is looking for an experienced Accountant to review financial activity of CBN-affiliated international entities, evaluate internal financial controls, prepare financial reports, analyze budget variances, determine monthly wire amounts, and track designated funds. This position will ensure compliance with all government regulations and corporate financial policies and procedures. Additionally, this professional will train and oversee work of in-country Accounting Managers.
A hybrid work schedule is available.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business with Accounting emphasis
- Strong working knowledge and experience working with GAAP, IFRS, and FCPA
- Working knowledge of general auditing procedures
- Solid understanding of non-profit business and accounting principles
- Proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong project, organizational and time-management skills
- Flexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport and work well within a cross-cultural work environment
- Available for occasional international travel
