What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Superintendent position at CCS Building Group?
Overview: Provide field supervision and management to ensure minimal disruption to our client’s staff and residents, that we deliver a high-quality product for a reasonable cost, and that the project is completed on schedule.
Job Duties:
- Provide supervision of all CCS employees, external subcontractors, and vendors
- Implement and maintain project schedule(s)
- Monitor quality control of products and their installation
- Enforce company Safety Policy and Personnel Manual, OSHA requirements, and owner requirements
- Daily and periodic record keeping:
- Daily job report with detail (weather, contractors, manpower, visitors, deliveries, unusual events, work in progress, completed work, etc.)
- Safety reporting
- Labor time sheets * Communicate to and work directly with Project Manager
Skills/Qualifications:
- Commitment to integrity, excellence, innovation, collaboration, and passion
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of related work experience
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to independently and quickly solve problems
- Ability to manage people and build relationships that demonstrate respect
- Knowledge of material cost and ability to manage costs on each job
