Celebration Health & Wellness is seeking a skilled Executive Assistant / Medical Assistant to join our skilled and caring healthcare team.
About Us:
A high volume multiple provider private practice dedicated to Women’s and Children's Health. The staff offers over 25 years of experience in the medical field. The Executive and Medical Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to Key Leadership Member and assist with various clinical and clerical tasks. This dynamic role requires a versatile individual who can manage a wide range of responsibilities with efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Calendar Management: Coordinate appointments, meetings, and events for senior executives and healthcare providers.
- Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and correspondence, while also assisting with patient inquiries and scheduling.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange travel itineraries, accommodations, and logistics for business trips, as well as assist with patient transportation and scheduling.
- Patient Preparation: Assist patients by taking medical histories, measuring vital signs, and preparing them for examinations.
- Clinical Assistance: Aid healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Document Preparation: Prepare reports, presentations, and medical documentation as needed, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Meeting Support: Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items for both executive and medical meetings.
- Office Management: Maintain office supplies, equipment, and ensure a well-organized workspace, including medical supplies and equipment inventory management.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding both executive and patient matters.
- Billing and Coding: Assist with medical billing and coding tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, healthcare professionals, and patients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an executive assistant or medical assistant, or in a similar administrative support role.
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software, with basic knowledge of medical office management systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and coding procedures.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
