Location: Hybrid - Woonsocket, RI area (Specific hybrid schedule will vary by project, but typically involves 2-3 days per week in the office).

Our client, a leading organization in the retail and healthcare industry, is seeking talented and experienced Design professionals to join their dynamic team. As a Designer II, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing various design initiatives that support key business objectives. This position often involves working with advertising, marketing, and/or retail layout design projects, ensuring high-quality visual outputs that meet brand standards and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative concepts to life and contribute to the overall visual identity of campaigns and spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage creative assets for advertising, marketing, and promotional materials, such as weekly circulars, digital ads, and in-store signage.
• Build and ensure adherence to design specifications, including layout, pricing, copy, and page criteria, meeting all deadlines and industry standards.
• Collaborate with production managers and marketing teams to produce high-quality printed and digital materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with versioning, ad corrections, and proofing processes to maintain design integrity and brand standards.
• Apply a deep understanding of graphic design principles, including layout, color, and typography, to create compelling visuals.
• Interpret and incorporate marketing and functional requirements into design solutions.
• (For specific projects) Develop and manage retail space layout designs, considering operational elements, building standards, and relevant regulations.
• Maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to align design efforts with business goals.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of creative design experience, preferably within advertising, marketing, or commercial retail design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding and experience in graphic design disciplines, including layout, color, and typography.
• Ability to understand and incorporate various design elements such as type, color, printing, and production into visual brand communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and conceptual themes.
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team player within cross-functional environments.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet timeline requirements.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AutoCAD design software for layout-focused roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Experience in the retail or healthcare industry.
