What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Cemen Tech?
PURPOSE OF POSITION
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
More specifically, this person will:
- Carry out product tests and thorough independent final inspection of finished assemblies to defined procedures, formally reporting all defects.
- Inspection and auditing of all components at all stages of the manufacturing process.
- Investigate quality issues to identify root cause and facilitate appropriate corrective action activities through multiple departments.
- Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system.
- Undertake special projects as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
- Basic understanding of precision measurement tools.
- Proven ability to clearly communicate to all levels of the organization.
EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS
- 1 year of quality inspection experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Power Point is required.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems preferred.
