Position Summary:
The Van Driver for the Drop-In Center is responsible for the safe and efficient transporting of members to and from the center, appointments and activities.
- Operate the Center van in a safe manner; ensure that seat belts are worn at all times by all passengers, maintain a non-smoking environment in the van.
- Promptly reports any observed safety issues with the van or members, or any violation of transportation safety or Center policies.
- Familiarity with the location of mental health programs, provider agencies, and supported housing.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. One year experience in working with consumers of mental health services in community-based settings.
ACT 33/34 and FBI Clearances, valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance coverage must be provided prior to hire.
