Medical Assistant | Northway Clinic

Find your purpose as a Medical Assistant at CentraCare Northway Clinic. This clinic features Integrated Behavioral Health Services which gives patient the opportunity to access these services in a family practice setting. The MA will provide patient focused customer service to all individuals, oversee and coordinate preventative care services and community resources for patients and their families to achieve good health, help patients achieve optimal health by planning patients care using evidenced based guidelines for care, (i.e., Hgb A1C or immunizations as appropriate) or gathering information pertinent to the patients care from other sources and assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently which includes rooming patients.

Schedule:

• Full Time | 80 hours every 2 weeks.
• Various shifts weekday shifts between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. (4-day work week may be an option)
• No evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay range $17.95 to $26.94 depending on years of experience.

Medical Assistant Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:
  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
  • National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
  • Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
    • Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.

Additional Requirements:

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
• Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
