The Birth Center is a 44-bed unit at the St. Cloud Hospital and is the largest birthing center in Central Minnesota! We perform approximately 2,900 deliveries a year and are equipped to deliver outstanding care at every stage of pregnancy. It is our mission to make labor and delivery as safe as possible, preserving the health of mother and infant throughout the process. Patients cared for include infants from early to post term gestation and childbearing women and their families.
Our Registered Nurses (RN) can choose to work within an OB Specialty they are passionate about – whether that’s low/high risk OB, postpartum including lactation support, and/or specialty newborn care. We also have 24-hour OB and anesthesia presence.
Current Opening
- Full-time, 60-72 hours every two weeks (5-6 shifts a pay period), 12-hour night shift (7p-7:30a), every 3rd weekend (Friday-Sunday), every other holiday
- This position is a High-Risk RN and a minimum of 1-2 years of labor & delivery experience preferred
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program and current MN RN license required
- BSN required within three years
- 1-2 years of labor & delivery experience preferred
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
