What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Assistant position at CentraCare?
Enjoy a rewarding career at CentraCare as a Patient Access Assistant at the Willmar Main Clinic in Willmar! Our Patient Access Assistants are the first point of contact for our patients and visitors and perform registration duties within the clinic. This role requires independent analysis, exercise of judgment and detailed knowledge of facility procedures related to the work performed. You will be responsible for verifying patient and insurance information, scheduling appointments, obtaining and identifying information necessary to produce billable patient accounts and more!
Schedule:
- Full Time | 80 hours every two weeks
- Monday - Friday (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) | Rotating Weekend every 6 months
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay starting at $17.83 per hour and up based on experience

Qualifications:
- One to Two years of Clerical, Administrative, or Customer Service experience required -OR-
- One-year prior experience in scheduling, billing, patient access, accounts receivable and/or collections experience required.
