Description
Position Objective: In this job, the team member will work as a team to support Central Advantage and precision ag. Provide tech support for the Central Advantage program and the various monitors and software that our customers and locations utilize. Have open communication with all Central Advantage staff with concerns and ideas. Process and enter grower information into the system and deliver results to the customers and sales staff in a timely manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Data Management
- Collect field information and required GPS information
- Maintain Current Soil Sample information
- Verify accuracy and submit to data base
- Create grower books and deliverables each year
- Acre growth and retention
- Develop a prospect list for your assigned territory
- Achieve assigned acre goal
- Retain all current acres in the program at your locations
- Software and Equipment
- Setup and Calibrate monitors to produce accurate data (grower and location)
- Understand Ag Leader SMS program to manage data
- Attend required training
- Willing to adapt and implement new software and procedures as the program grows
- Communication
- Make yourself available by phone, at office and on-site for questions
- Ask for assistance from any other Central Advantage staff when needed
- Assist sales staff with prospecting sales calls
- Provide program updates to Central Advantage staff
- Develop communication strategy for customer needs, (emails, mailings, phone calls, meetings)
- Demonstrate a professional image of yourself and company
- Work with Precision Ag Manager on special projects as needed/assigned.
- Maintain and develop Central Advantage GS image and reputation and protect and develop the Cooperatives brands via ethical activities and intellectual property management.
- Continue personal and educational self-development.
- Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management
Requirements
Licensing, Certification and Qualification:
- Prefer ag related degree or experience
- Computer and technical skills, including experience with Microsoft office software
- Good organizational skills
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
Working Environment: 60% of time spent customers facing, 40% data/computer work. Customer facing time will vary between office, field and remote locations.
Physical Demands: Able to get in and out of farm equipment.
