Accurately assemble intricate components and product while adhering to quality standards and meeting production targets.
Technical Job Functions
- Primary responsibility is to assemble intricate precise components or products according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Performs precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting within very tight tolerances.
- Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fitting, wiring, circuit boards and soldering of components to assemble units.
- Uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, and dial calipers.
- Perform inspection of parts. Record and interpret data for process control charts as required.
- Will perform set-ups, adjustments, and maintenance of machines and/or equipment.
- Attention to details and expertise in precision assembly techniques will ensure the production of high-quality products.
- Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly correct and/or notify Manager of hazardous situations.
- Participate in and take proactive roles in ISO, AS9100, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, corrective action, identification and solution verification.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous manufacturing experience or specialized training preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must be J standard certified (Solder).
