LPN for Orlando PPEC

We are looking for one (1) compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide medical care in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) setting, in accordance with an established care plan. Part-Time position with 10-12 hr day shifts available. We offer competitive compensation, to go along with our world-class service. This particular position is for a PPEC in Orlando, FL.

Must have at least 1 year of experience as an LPN. Experience with Pediatric patients, and ICU/PCU preferred or must have documentation of ventilator and/or tracheostomy training (i.e. certifications, verified references). Experience with developmentally disabled is a plus.

LPN’s are responsible for tasks such as:

• Daily assessments of clients
• Administration of medications (oral, enteral, inhaled, etc.)
• Documentation of client status, and/or changes
• Communication with RN, MD, & other medical professionals for orders and updates
• Ventilator monitoring and management
• Tracheostomy care and suctioning
• Tube feeding
• Disease management
• Coordination client medical appointments
