Summary
Supports the budget function of the college as a member of the budget department team by collecting, analyzing and interpreting data for the purpose of institutional planning and decision-making. Performs special projects and provides overall support to college-wide budgeting functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides overall professional support to the institution’s budget process, which includes creating planning documents and presentations, developing information to support institutional decision-making, reviewing department budgets, and adjusting budget expenditure estimates and fund balances, attending budget committee meetings, and reviewing budget requests.
- Conducts research and special studies to generate statistical reports for planning and decision making, which includes coordinating data collection and analysis, tabulating data, presenting collected information in various formats, and ensuring data integrity.
- Initiates, plans, and coordinates budget-training activities and prepares budget-related training materials.
- Plans, develops, and organizes system for documenting department projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimums
- Master's Degree
AND
- One (1) year of related experience
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree
AND
- Three (3) years of related experience
