Summary

The Outreach Manager directs and oversees outreach opportunities for specific CNM programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifies, directs, and assists to promote public affairs and strategic community outreach programs and sales-related efforts designed to introduce programs.
  • Collaborates with staff to identify and utilize subject matter experts to promote and recruit for programs.
  • Maintains working relationships with program staff to compile and disseminate program information.
  • Maintains focus on recruiting students into programs.
  • Plans, organizes and executes various events, both recurring and as needed.
  • Produces and presents various written and oral presentations and other content to diverse groups, including potential students, employers, industry leaders, and various community stakeholder organizations.
  • Works closely with academic departments, sales, program, and marketing teams to analyze and continually refine and implement successful strategies to reach and recruit various populations into programs.
  • Represents CNM and programs at public events, sometimes working outside regular hours.
  • Oversees documentation and analysis of outreach efforts.
  • Identifies and seeks out opportunities to collaborate with local companies and interest groups to increase partnership and create pipelines for recruitment and placement of program completers.
  • Building networking relationships with industry stakeholders to create understanding and involvement at programmatic level to develop and maintain industry driven competencies.
  • Demonstrated ability in critical thinking, tolerance of ambiguity, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Minimums

  • Bachelor's degree

AND

  • Two (2) years of combined experience in Sales, Marketing, Outreach, Higher Education, Public Relations, and/or Fundraising.


Preferences

  • Two years’ experience using software tools and databases (Symplicity, Salesforce, Smartsheets, etc)
  • Two years’ experience in sales, public speaking/facilitation or project management
  • Two years’ experience in employer outreach and/or engagement from an adult education or higher education perspective
  • Two years’ combined experience in career, business or workforce development, recruiting, career coaching and/or a related field


Additional Comments to Applicants:

As a condition of employment CNM requires all students, faculty, and staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no later than October 1, 2021.
