What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Technician I position at Central Peninsula Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the payables function of the department. Receives and reviews invoices from vendors, matches documents, routes invoices for approval by appropriate managers, reviews and verifies expense codes, posts transactions, and processes payments to vendors. Processes cash and checks for daily bank deposits. Performs other duties associated with accounts payable, including electronic banking functions,1099 processing, and maintaining vendor files. Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years of experience in a General Accounting Setting.
