What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Coordinator position at Central Peninsula Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the inventory management of operating room supply inventory comprised of medical and surgical items. This job is responsible for establishing proper stock levels to ensure the optimum inventory is maintained to meet the needs of the operating room. This job is also responsible for cyclic and annual inventories, employee audits of inventory and audits of automated point of use supply systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in a clinical setting
- Combination of relevant education and experience will be accepted in lieu of two of experience.
PREFERRED:
- Inventory Management Experience
