What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Obstetrics position at Central Peninsula Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY: CPH Obstetrics (OB) department manages patients throughout the continuum of pregnancy. CPH OB RNs are responsible for antepartum, intra-partum, and post-partum patients as well as managing newborns and special care nursery patients.
This position provides individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and standards of nursing practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- State of Alaska RN License
- NRP Certification
- STABLE Certification
- BLSP (CPR) & ACLS from the American Heart Association
