Food Service Director
Centralia Point Assisted Living and Memory Care is hiring a Food Service Director.
OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
As the Food Service Director, you will work closely with kitchen staff, caregivers, and suppliers. The kitchen staff will be taught how to efficiently provide high quality nutrition (via meals and snacks) to our residents thanks to the guidance and coaching you provide. You will promote cleanliness, food safety, nutrition, and a positive outcome for our residents using the diverse knowledge and relational skills you bring with you.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience with food service delivery, presentation & staff supervision is a must.
- Knowledge and a daily passion for food handling, preparation, and cooking.
- Understanding of the service needs and operations of a commercial kitchen.
- Maintaining a clean, well-run kitchen is your specialty and is in your comfort zone.
- A strong desire to serve others, specifically seniors, in a tight-knit community!
- Prior experience as a cook is required.
- Prior experience in a leadership role, and in Senior Care is preferred.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
