Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days a week from office and 2 days remote)

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

Seeking candidate with 6-7 years of automation experience in Cypress, PactumJS, and API testing. Collaborate with the QA team to automate tests for quality and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the functional QA team to determine automation needs and priorities
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress (Typescript/Javascript) and PactumJS
• Conduct API testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality
• Analyze test results and work with developers to resolve issues
• Adhere strictly to industry standards for automation testing
• Successfully implement automation frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team

Requirements:

• 6 to 7 years of experience in automation testing
• Proven expertise in Cypress (Typescript/Javascript) and PactumJS
• Strong understanding of API testing and related tools
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
