What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Program Driver position at CERENITY INC?
Required Skills and Experience:
- A love for helping people and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
- Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment.
- Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
- 1 year working with adults or children with disabilities (preferred)
- 3 years of experience being a driver (preferred)
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role regarding MVA- Driver License.
- Must be physically able to drive safely and follow all required laws when driving.
- Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with adults with disabilities, see and hear well enough to keep people safe.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- No points on drivers’ licenses
- CPR/First Aid
- Willing to take additional training that is required to work with adults with disabilities.
Job Duties:
- Transport adults with disabilities to and from their day program.
- Obey all traffic laws.
- Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles.
- Ensure the safety of all people.
- Perform inspections of the vehicle before and after each route and report and findings immediately to management.
- Attend safety meetings as required.
- Other duties assigned.
Salary : $30,700 - $38,800
