Job Details
We are seeking to add a Commercial Loan Administrator to provide various administrative and client services support. This unique role is assigned by the market and works alongside the sales team to provide tactical support for the lending process. This position may also provide direct support to Portfolio Management and Credit on various administrative functions, as needed. This position can be an entry point into the Commercial Lending line of business, though there are Senior level CLAs with significant career experience.
Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Provide clerical and technical support for the lenders, credit, and operations staff as needed.
- Interact with clients and external contacts including accountants, attorneys, appraisers, title agencies, etc., and other support areas within CFBank in a professional manner
- Handle routine inquiries and client service issues promptly and professionally
- Provide assistance to commercial lenders in the management of all aspects of their commercial loan portfolios, including existing clients and the development of new clients in the C&I, CRE, and Equipment Finance space.
- Assist with the tracking/collection of client information including insurance coverage and real estate tax payments on the loan as well as tracking of exceptions including borrowing base, covenants, documents, financial statements, policy exceptions, and annual reviews
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of loan set-up/renewal information for input on the loan system(s) and assist with processing loan advances, loan payments, payoffs, account transfers, and any other client requests in a timely manner
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of client credit, documentation, and loan files, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist in the management of Cash Value Life Insurance and Marketable Securities reporting
- Create and review various reports for reconciliations, warehousing reports, documentation, and loan data input on various computer systems
