CFD Research Corporation is looking to add an experienced test engineer to the team to support research and development (R&D) at our Engineering Test Center, located a short distance from our Headquarters in Huntsville, AL. The position is a new role that will work on a growing team of engineers and technicians and will encompass conceptual design, prototyping, and testing phases in support of Army, Air Force, and Navy programs. Programs span hypersonic ground test, propulsion, flight hardware, and more. Location: This role is based in Hollywood, AL and is 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field
- Relevant coursework in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mechanics, and electrical/circuits
- 1 years experience in a prototype and test environment
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
- Relevant coursework in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mechanics, and electrical/circuits
- Experience working with instrumentation and using a control software like LabVIEW, Rockwell Automation, etc.
- Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team of test technicians, machinists, design engineers, and analysts
- Experience developing and testing prototype hardware
- Experience with CNC machinery and fabrication tools/processes
