Position: Shop Technician - Welding and/or Woodworking Specialty
We’re looking for a reliable and safety minded individual to join our Shop Crew. Strengths in either Carpentry / Woodworking or Welding are required.
Key Responsibilities:
The shop assistant will help the shop manager / lead fabricator in all daily tasks and basic shop maintenance, including clean up and fabrication. Shop assistant will help with occasional woodworking projects:
- Experience in Woodworking (required)
- Experience in Construction (strongly preferred)
- Shop assistant experience (strongly preferred)
- Experience in Welding
- Show up on time and be reliable
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Graduate of GED
- Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and carry heavy objects 50 lb or more
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Valid Driver's License
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
