Maintenance Technician
The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District is seeking a full-time (40-hour week) Maintenance Technician to assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities and ground. Standard work hours are Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm, with the exception of Wednesdays being 7 am to 4 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining the physical condition of the facility and its surroundings through routine preventative, corrective, and/or light maintenance work in accordance with safety standards.
• Facilitates mobile events by scheduling and driving the Champaign Urbana Public Health District mobile vehicle to outreach events in Champaign County.
• Utilizes CUPHD truck to haul the Dental trailer to area schools
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• AND five (5) years of janitorial maintenance work experience
• Ability to lift heavy objects (30 lbs)
• Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance

The starting annual salary for this position is $34,083 for a 40-hour work week.
