COME JOIN US as we seek an RN who is passionate about healthcare and the well being of our patients for a RN in our Labor and Delivery Department. This RN will provide oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift including serving as a resource to staff, directing patient flow, assuring appropriate utilization of resources, and providing oversight for the provision of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients.
The MATERNAL CHILD HEALTH department Chandler Regional Medical Center is composed of three units: Labor and Delivery, Family Centered Care and Special Care Nursery. The department averages 320 deliveries a month. Our nursery cares for infants born at or after 28 weeks of gestation. Over 200 employees staff our department. This includes nurses, scrub techs, unit secretaries and management.
Our department has a strong focus on staff empowerment. We have a number of staff driven committees that work with management to achieve excellence in patient care. The MCH department has won a number of awards related to patient safety. All staff is encouraged and supported to pursue higher education in the form of additional degrees and/or certifications.
Located in the City of Chandler, Az, a suburb of Phoenix, this position is critical to the success of Chandler Regional Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
One (1) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty.
ADN, Diploma, or foreign equivalent
Current AZ State RN License in good standing
Current ACLS card.
Certification within the specialty within 24 months of hire.
Current NRP card or NRP Instructor.
NCC certification in Inpatient Obstetrics and EFM .
PREFERRED:
BSN
Charge Nurse experience . Current BLS healthcare provider card.
