What are the responsibilities and job description for the Autism Support Aide position at Changing the Lives of Children with Autism- CLCA?
Changing the Lives of Children with Autism (CLCA) is currently looking to fill several support staff positions with experienced, dedicated, and reliable employees to join our team. CLCA is an approved Autism Waiver Provider Agency that has been successfully providing services throughout Maryland for 18 years, primarily in Montgomery, Frederick, Baltimore and Prince George's County.
Our clients range in age from 10 years to 21 years. Because they are all school aged, hours are primarily on the weekends and after school in the afternoons and evenings. Summer does allow for more mornings and daytime hours, as well.
Responsibilities include implementing individualized treatment plan goals and objectives, which often focus on communication, independence and daily living skills, social skills and behavior management. Goals may be implemented at home and/or in the community based on the parent's requests.
