We are looking for a Animal Care Technician I (Rodent Facility) to join our Insourcing Solutions team located in South San Francisco, CA.

Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
What you will do!
In this role you will care for the animals used in research and development studies. Perform duties related to the maintenance of experimental animals such as feeding and caring for animals, cleaning cages, holding animals for treatment by laboratory technician or maintaining inventory and animal identification records. Perform cleaning/sanitation of animal facility and equipment. You will also be responsible for bio-safety and bio-security of the animals. You may partner with pre-clinical investigators to assist and support veterinarians with surgery, dosing, post-op care and monitoring of animal studies.
Job Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
A candidate that possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related discipline or CVT/LVT/RVT and no experience OR High School Diploma/GED and one (1) year related husbandry and technical experience required.
