Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Location: Elgin, IL
Pay: $21.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Shift Options: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (includes 1-hour lunch)

Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support the daily shipping and logistics functions at a manufacturing facility in Elgin. This role plays a key part in ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, while maintaining excellent communication with both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing slips, customs forms, and material certifications

• Schedule and coordinate shipment pickups and deliveries

• Obtain freight quotes and assist with customer return shipments

• Maintain accurate shipment records and tracking information

• Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve shipping-related issues

• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and customer quality standards

• Support a professional and respectful team environment

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Use of Microsoft Outlook and basic Excel is required

• Any previous shipping experience or experience with SAP is a plus
