Job Summary
Bar Staff are responsible for carrying out all necessary bar operations to ensure guest satisfaction for throughout the day. Job responsibilities include setup, busing tables, cleaning bar areas, and serving guests. The bar staff should provide a great environment and overall wonderful experience. This job listing is for part-time hours ranging anywhere from 16-30 hours a week and is considered a key position in what we want to build- there is opportunity to become full-time with impressive performance.
General Attendant / Minimum Job Duties
- Clears soiled dishes as needed.
- Cleans all assigned work areas in bar and dining areas.
- Cleans up spills, broken service ware and attends to similar problems during service with minimal disruption to diners.
- Collects trash from dining area following the conclusion of dinning. Dusts chairs before and after dinning.
- Assists in closing functions such as cleaning bar, wiping tables, restocking and general cleaning of area.
- Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the work shift.
- Polishes silver service items.
- Keeps ice bins
- Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Bar Supervisor.
- Performs all general banquet staff duties.
- Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating them.
- Takes beverage orders and serves food in specified station.
- Advises supervisor of any member or guest complaints as soon as they occur.
- Consistently follows all food safety-related requirements.
- Assists Dining Room Manager, Banquet Captain and other employees in assuring that the club’s policies and procedures for serving alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
- Stocks bar and completes other pre-opening requirements such as preparing garnishes, fruits mixes ,and pre-mixed drinks prior to opening bar.
- Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available and requests additional supplies as necessary.
- Mixes, prepares and serves drinks to members and guests and mixes and prepares drinks ordered by food and beverage servers according to approved standard recipes.
- Skilled at slowing and refusing alcoholic beverage service when necessary.
- Complies with basic safety and sanitation requirements.
- Basic knowledge of club’s POS system or comparable POS system preferred.
- Assures that all state and local laws and club policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
- Collects payments for drinks served during cash bars.
- Goes above and beyond normal service standards to ensure key guests have an exceptional experience.
- Excellent at problem solving skills and handling customer concerns and complaints without the need of involving a manager.
- Extremely friendly, pleasant demeanor with ability to adapt to a wide variety of guests.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
