What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crime Analyst position at Chatham County Government?
The Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team is looking for a Crime Analyst. If you meet the minimum requirements, consider applying for this new civilian position.In this role, you will use the most current technology to collect, disseminate, analyze, and create actionable information in support of complex drug investigations. You will use open-source databases and judicially acquired data to assist with investigations. You will analyze and organize data to identify patterns that lead to actionable information. Your communication skills are essential as you assist in investigating and prosecuting multi-jurisdictional individuals. Other duties may be assigned.Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, Law Enforcement, or a related field, and at least two (2) years of management and/or criminal analysis experience and preparation of comprehensive written reports; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Prior investigative experience and/or knowledge or use of open-source databases is preferred.
Salary : $51,494 - $82,390
