What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Collision Instructor - TCHS Pickering Campus position at Chester County Intermediate Unit?
- Appropriate PA Department of Education (PDE) Vocational certification or the ability to enroll in a PDE approved certification program, and appropriate auto collision related certifications or have successfully completed the appropriate Occupational Competency Assessment. In addition to the minimum PDE certification requirements; candidates should possess relevant industry certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of auto collision is required.
- Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required upon hire
Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide quality occupational instruction to secondary career and technical students to prepare them for a successful career path in auto collision.
- Program development.
- Maintain and practice an effective safety program within the curriculum.
- Consistent and effective program recruitment.
- Effective supervision of all students at TCHS - Pickering's Campus.
- Maintain and modify task lists to remain current and up to date.
- Develop and maintain a productive Occupational Advisory Committee.
- Maintenance of appropriate professional certificates and licenses as required.
- Maintenance of appropriate industrial certifications on a regular basis.
- Other assignments requested by the principal or designee.

Salary Range (2023-24 school year):
$53,277 to $84,228 - Emergency/Intern Certification (coming in with industry experience)
$54,981 to $86,531 - Vocational I Teaching Certification
$57,379 to $89,997 - Vocational II Teaching Certification
