About The Role
As an Intensivist/Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients across various settings within the hospital. This position offers the flexibility to choose daytime or overnight 12-hour shifts, working any 3 days per week.
Shift Responsibilities
- Daytime Shift:
- Primarily focused on patient admissions.
- Taking and transferring calls.
- Processing patients from surrounding Little Rock metro communities.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Night Shift:
- Working alongside a nocturnist in a hands-on role.
- Taking all floor calls.
- Providing bedside care to patients in the ICU.
- Managing a wide range of medical conditions.
- Flexible scheduling: Choose any 3 days per week.
- 12-hour shifts: Daytime or Overnight options available.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current and valid Arkansas APRN license (or eligible to obtain).
- DEA license (or eligible to obtain).
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification is required.
- Strong clinical skills and a desire to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
